Programs for enlisted and noncommissioned offers to further their education include:
Navy Marine Corps Intranet Military Detachment — Run by the Naval Network and Space Operations Command, it trains information technology professionals to operate, maintain and administer secure and reliable information systems for the Navy.
The Air Force Institute of Technology — The Air Force's graduate school of engineering and management, and its institution for technical professional continuing education, recently graduated its first class of 10 noncommissioned officers.
National Security Agency Information Assurance Scholarship — This scholarship is open to military and civilian students. Recipients get a free education in information assurance, and, in return, agree to work for whatever government agency most needs their skills.
Navy College Program Online — Provides opportunities for sailors to earn college degrees by providing academic credit for Navy training, work experience and off-duty education.
Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Degree Completion Program — Selected Marine noncommissioned officers can complete a bachelor's degree program in disciplines that relate to the Marine Corps by attending a civilian college or university as a full-time student.
