Take 2

Clarification: Army officials planned to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) program. They wanted the awarded contract to be a hybrid containing cost-reimbursable and fixed-price contract line items with incentives and with only a few time-and-materials line items. An April 4 article titled "Contracting showdown" reported that service officials wanted to use a time-and-materials contract for GFEBS.

Clarification: Because of an editing error, a disclosure was cut from Steve Kelman's column titled "Leadership, at long last" in the April 25 issue. The column should have stated that Kelman does consulting work for Ariba, which competes in the strategic sourcing support market.
