DISA plans events to attract employees

The Defense Information Systems Agency will hold a series of events to attract employees with expertise in information technology, telecommunications and other specialties.

The first event will be Saturday Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel in Linthicum, Md.

DISA is holding the event with the Maryland Department of Labor, License and Regulation. Attendees will learn how to build their federal resumes, how to qualify for security clearances, and other areas, DISA officials said.

Information requests should be directed to DISA's Manpower, Personnel and Security Directorate Office, Civilian Personnel Division at 703-607-6933 or to the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Communications Office at 410-230-6071.
