SSA aims for face-to-face customer service online

The Social Security Administration may add videoconference calls to the customer service options on its main website, according to Joseph Marks on NextGov.com.

The SSA already uses videoconference call options in its field offices, allowing customers to use its equipment to connect with an agent at a less busy facility, according to NextGov.
