DHS loses senior exec

Homeland Security Department Chief Human Capital Officer Jeff Neal has told his staff he's retiring effective Aug. 3, Federal News Radio's Jason Miller reports, Government Executive noted.

He's been DHS since 2009, and has held human resources jobs at the Commerce Department and the Defense Logistics Agency, the article said.

Neal's also served on the Chief Human Capital Officers Council, the story added.
