Mark Forman to leave KPMG

Mark Forman, the Office of Management and Budget leader who oversaw the beginnings of the E-Gov initiatives for President George W. Bush, is leaving KPMG, where he has served as partner.

Forman told Francis Rose on Federal News Radio's "In Depth" program, "Since I'm over 50, I guess I'm officially retiring from KPMG. I'll be joining a colleague of mine in government reform, jumping into the cloud, with a cloud-computing initiative around grants filing."

Forman served as OMB's associate director for IT and e-government during the early years of the Bush administration and was directly responsible for implementing the E-Gov program.
