Tipton named executive director at (ISC)2

W. Hord Tipton has been appointed as executive director for the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, a nonprofit that educates and certifies information security professionals. Tipton was chief information officer at the Interior Department and has been a board of directors member at (ISC)2 since 2005. He replaces Eddie Zeitler.
