Letter: FCW should provide links to source documents

Regarding "OMB: Standards will boost financial performance"

It would be nice if you guys would take the time to provide Web links to the source documents that you report on. It's not 1995.

I agree! I just finished reading an article from the FCW December 8, 2008 issue titled, "Watchdogs make industry leery." Great article about a new FAR rule requiring contractors to report evidence of crimes to IGs and COs. Nowhere in the two-page article is there any reference to the Federal Register citation for this rule, or to the FAR section where it appears. Even in the gray box "Breaking down the rule" there is no specific information about where to find the rule, except that the FAR was amended in November and the rule takes effect on December 12. I can find the rule on the Internet, but this article would have helped me so much more if it contained just one line like, for example, See FAR 12.4 and 10 FR 1234 for more information. You have a great magazine, and I always learn alot. Thanks for reading my rant.
