Godwin of USA.gov said appointed to the White House

USA.gov director Bev Godwin was named the White House’s Director of Online Resources and Interagency Development, according to several blog posts today.

A government source told Federal Computer Week that Godwin is currently on a detail at the White House.

Godwin will serve on the White House’s New Media Team, according to the published reports. Godwin’s appointment is another sign that President Barack Obama’s administration is committed to using social networking tools for government, according to the reports.
