Federal 100 winner: Col. Anthony Faughn

Faughn helped improved situational awareness on the battlefield through development of a dashboard that supports the commander with secure collaboration and real-time situational awareness.

The solution, the Commander’s Dashboard, lets officials collaborate on operational plans and synchronizes staff members' actions around the world. It also ensures the authenticity, currency and operational priority of data that passes through the system. Faughn’s efforts have helped service members react immediately to threats.

“Tony Faughn excelled at the toughest job in the Air Force communications business," said retired Col. Marty Edmonds.  "His leadership through the Commander’s Dashboard attacked the most difficult staff and IT problem in the Air Force Component — one boss, one staff, spread over two continents.”
