Federal 100 winner: Frank DiGiammarino

Frank DiGiammarino

Vice president of strategic initiatives

National Academy of Public Administration

DiGiammarino leads the creation and execution of special initiatives at the academy, which delivers innovative approaches to government’s management challenges.

In this role, he created a collaboration project that collects lessons of the government’s Web 2.0 initiatives, case studies and policies for the benefit of other government organizations.

“Over two years ago, he became convinced that new collaborative tools and approaches were key to our ability to innovate and problem solve in government,” said Lena Trudeau, program area director of strategic initiatives at NAPA. “His sense of urgency, his commitment to do what’s right and his infectious enthusiasm are exactly what we need right now.”
