Justice CIO heads to Deloitte

Van Hitch, former CIO at the Justice Department, is joining Deloitte’s Federal practice to be a senior advisor to federal clients and CIOs, the company announced Feb. 21.

He will help agencies identify long-term technology and transformation opportunities.

Hitch was CIO at Justice for nine years and played an important role in the Federal CIO Council. At Justice, he led the department through major IT transformations in law enforcement information sharing and analysis and in cybersecurity.

Tab Warlitner, principal at Deloitte Consulting and Civilian Segment Lead, said Hitch’s knowledge and relationships in the CIO community will help in showing Deloitte's technology capabilities to federal clients.
