Daniel F. McMillin
Deputy Chief of Warfighting Integration
and Deputy CIO
Air Force Department
The work: Taking a fine-tooth comb to operations at Air Force headquarters to save money and create a smoother-running operation.
The impact: McMillin increased the use of joint enterprise solutions for Air Force IT and doubled the expected savings to $2.6 billion.
The nuts and bolts: McMillin led a team that evaluated cyberspace operations at headquarters offices.
