Vice President, Experian Public Sector
Sal Guariano is the vice president for Experian’s Information Solutions. In this role, Guariano oversees the management of all federal, state and local government agencies and creation of strategic partnerships. He is responsible for the sales and relationship management of the 15 cabinet-level agencies, as well as the various independent agencies.
Prior to this position, Guariano served as the senior marketing director within the Credit Services division of Experian. In this role, he led the development of comprehensive marketing strategies for risk management, account retention, cross-selling and overall account management solutions. Under his leadership, the portfolio solutions suite exceeded goals and represented $77M in revenue. Additionally, he managed the integrated and channel marketing team which collaborates with multiple business unit directors to develop bundled product and solution sets and execution of marketing channel activities. Guariano also served as a marketing and risk solutions consultant for Experian where he provided sales and solution consulting to over 20 financial services clients. Guariano joined Experian in 2004 and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and events discussing industry trends and best practices on enterprise risk related issues.
Guariano has over 20 years experience in financial services where he served in various senior management positions of top-tiered financial institutions, including Bank One/Chase Card Services, MBNA America Bank, N.A., and Chase Manhattan Bank (USA) all in Wilmington, DE.
Guariano received his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Delaware.
In addition to his fulfilling his responsibilities at Experian, Guariano is currently involved with a number of non-profit organizations in Delaware, including the MS Society, Easter Seals and Catholic Youth Ministries Athletics Programs.
