The 21st Annual Federal 100 Awards Dinner

Join us downtown on FOSE Eve when we celebrate the 21st Annual Federal 100 Awards. We will recognize 100 individuals whose vision, passion, risk-taking and pioneering spirit have impacted and transformed federal IT. Professionals from government, industry and academia will be honored for their efforts in affecting change, progress and efficiency in determining how the federal government acquires, develops and manages IT.

John Oliver has been a writer and correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart since 2006. As a result of his popularity on The Daily Show, Comedy Central asked John to write and star in his own one-hour stand-up special, Terrifying Times, which premiered in April 2008 and was subsequently released on DVD. In 2008 John starred in Mike Myers' movie, The Love Guru and is currently appearing in a recurring role in the NBC series, Community. Premiering in January, 2010 John will host his own six episode series for Comedy Central, John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, where John will perform stand-up along with some of his favorite comedians. John has had multiple Writers Guild and Emmy Nomination for his writing on The Daily Show and in 2009 won the Emmy Award for Best Comedy Writing In A Comedy or Variety Series.

In addition, special Eagle Awards will be presented to one government official and one industry executive for outstanding contributions to the federal IT community.
This elegant event will take place the night before the FOSE show commences. (FOSE is the #1 government-focused technology event of the year, March 23-25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center).
