    Mr. Sasala serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (ITA). In this role, Mr. Sasala is responsible for the establishment and oversight of the technical direction of the Agency. Mr. Sasala is charged with ensuring that ITA takes a proactive approach to identifying and deploying new technologies, ensuring alignment with and integration of the Agency’s technology with Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), Army and Pentagon technology strategies. Most recently, he served as the Senior Technical Director for ManTech International, providing technology strategy and leadership for the defense and intelligence communities. In his career, Mr. Sasala has extensive experience supporting both public and private sector clients, including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Defense Security Service, and the U.S. Navy. He holds an M.S. in Telecommunications and Computers from The George Washington University and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

    Lori Walsh is currently the Chief of the Center for Risk and Quantitative Analytics in the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission. She joined the SEC in 2000 as a financial economist, first in the Office of Economic Analysis and later in the Office of Risk Assessment. In her role as an economist, she worked on a wide range of issues including securities offerings, foreign private issuers, offering document disclosure, mutual funds, hedge funds and credit rating agencies. Lori has had her research published in academic journals and trade publications.

    In May 2010, she joined the Division of Enforcement as the Deputy Chief of the Office of Market Intelligence (OMI) where she helped design the first centralized Tips, Complaints and Referrals system for the Commission. In July 2013 she started the Center for Risk and Quantitative Analytics (CRQA). CRQA staff includes PhDs, quants, data experts, attorneys, forensic accountants and analysts and provides the Division with enhanced data analytic capabilities to proactively identify as yet undetected violations and to support faster, more effective cases. This is done by developing new analytical techniques, providing basic and complex analytical services and educating Enforcement staff on the power of big data in enforcing securities laws.

    Lori received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, an MBA and a PhD in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.

    Kapil Bakshi is a Distinguished Engineer with Cisco Systems, Inc. He is responsible for leading technology & business architectures, including Cloud and Big Data Analytics strategy and initiatives for Cisco Public Sector. Kapil has extensive experience in strategizing, architecting, managing, and delivering complex technology solutions. During his career, he has held several architectural, consulting, and managerial positions within the industry. Prior to Cisco, Kapil worked for Sun Microsystems, where he spent a decade working with US Government, Enterprise and Service Provider customers. Prior to SUN Microsystems, he worked for Hewlett-Packard and several government system integrators in consulting and product development roles. Kapil is a native of Washington D.C. and holds both a BS in electrical engineering and a BS in computer science from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as an MS in electrical & computer engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. He chairs and leads several industry forums. He also holds U.S. patents for data center and analytics related solution sets.

    Prem Jadhwani, chief technology officer (CTO), brings 18 years of experience working in the enterprise IT space with both commercial and Federal customers to Government Acquisitions, Inc. (GAI). As CTO, Mr. Jadhwani provides solution vision, strategy, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise around data centers, networking, cyber security, cloud computing, data analytics, and other emerging technologies.

    Mr. Jadhwani has served as a Commissioner for TechAmerica Cloud and Big Data Commission. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from Stuart School of Business in Chicago, and has completed coursework for a Ph.D. in Cyber Security from George Mason University. He also holds 100+ reputable certifications including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCNP, VCP, ITIL, GCIH, and GSLC.

    Adilson Jardim is the current Federal Sales Engineering leader for Splunk. Mr Jardim has over 21 years of industry experience, including software development in various verticals. Throughout his career, he has been faced with many different challenges that grew increasingly more complex – from streaming satellite data, to validating architecture solutions for Federal customers launching large scale citizen-facing services.

    The Public Sector organization within Splunk is focused on providing solutions that derive insight from any machine generated data and correlate, organize and visualize information.

    This is an unique approach to the Big Data and Analytics problem that our Federal customers are faced with and changes the dialogue around the analytics driven agency.

    Prior to joining Splunk, Mr Jardim spent nearly a decade with Oracle’s Public Sector organization providing architecture solutions for a wide array of technology challenges to the US Public Sector.

    Jay Lambke, president, brings over 20 years’ experience leading various organizations specializing in the IT needs of the Federal, State, Local, and Education markets. As President, Mr. Lambke is responsible for leveraging his experience and relationships to maneuver Government Acquisitions, Inc. (GAI) through its ongoing operations, providing advisory and strategy support.

    Prior to joining GAI, Mr. Lambke was president of Prism Pointe Technologies and GovConnection. At GovConnection, Mr. Lambke was responsible for turning around the company following the loss of their Federal GSA Schedule and negative earnings. Mr. Lambke has also held executive roles at Gateway, Inc., Ingram Micro, and Tech Data.

    Nick Psaki is a system engineer for Pure Storage in the Washington, DC area. His area of focus is the United States Army and U.S. Special Operations Command.

    A 20-year veteran of the United States Army, Nick has extensive experience in designing, developing, deploying and operating information systems for analysis of large sets of varying data types. He was the subject matter expert for the Army's DCGS-A requirements directorate, Intelligence Architectures Chief for the Army G2 (Intelligence), and the Technology and Integration Director for Army G2 Futures directorate. He has served in multiple peacekeeping and combat operations ranging from the Balkans in the 1990's (Operation Able Sentry VI and Operation Joint Endeavor/Joint Guard) to Iraq and Afghanistan in the post-9/11 era. For the past several years, Nick has been focused on ways in which new and emerging technologies can enable more rapid and cost-efficient analysis of ever-growing bodies of data.

    Nick is married to Stacy, his lovely wife of 17 years. They have three children, and live in Falls Church, VA.

    Mr. Rice is SAP NS2’s Chief Architect and brings deep technical knowledge about SAP’s products, roadmaps, and capabilities. He focuses on helping DoD and IC customers apply the HANA in memory data platform to their mission use cases.

    Mr. Rice was previously the CTO of SAIC’s Intelligence Systems Group – this is the 3000 person unit of SAIC that provides solutions to the DoD and IC. In this role Mr. Rice provided technical leadership of SAIC’s big data programs including RTRG, DCGS-A, Orion, and Red Disk. Through this experience Mr. Rice gained extensive technical understanding of IC-ITE and the implications of this architecture for the IC/DoD communities.
