FedCIRC offerings

The Federal Computer Incident Response Capability offers the following kinds of information to agencies:

    * Advisories that provide explanations of problems, information to help tell if a site has a specific problem, fixes or workarounds, and vendor information.

    * Quarterly summaries that draw attention to the types of attacks being reported as well as other noteworthy incident and vulnerability information.

    * Vulnerability notes that cover weaknesses that lack the criteria to become FedCIRC advisories.

    * Incident notes that informally report on computer security incidents and changing intruder tactics. There is no set schedule for publishing incident notes.
