A for-profit outfit would be out of business already and so should the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. Without a means to access [the Web site] by the user, there might as well not even be a record. Their Mickey Mouse ears are showing. Unfortunately, there is no means for the shareholders to fire the thrift investment board.

This is what we waited six years for? I have been trying since Monday [June 16] to get access to my account and have not been able to. Didn't the company who designed this understand the number of people who have accounts and would want to access their accounts? This is really pathetic!

I must confess, I don't see what the fuss is all about. Before they deployed the new system, it took at least a month for fund transfers to take effect. And these people are whining about hours now? Get real is all I can say. Be patient. The novelty of the illusion of being a day trader will wear off soon and these start-up misadventures will be forgotten.
