Senate confirms four DHS nominees

The Senate voted to confirm four top Homeland Security Department nominees Dec. 19.


They are:



  • Robert Jamison, undersecretary of the National Protection and Programs Directorate.

  • Julie Myers, assistant secretary at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.    

  • Dr. Jeffrey Runge, chief medical officer and assistant secretary at the Office of Health Affairs.

  • Ross Ashley, assistant administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
