Federal 100: Tim Hoechst

Tim Hoechst
Chief Technology Officer
Agilex

Tim Hoechst is an innovation evangelist.

In 2010, he led Agilex’s efforts to more rapidly introduce the federal government to the new generation of smart phones and tablets, demonstrating that products such as iPads and iPhones can play a role in enterprise-level systems. Along the same lines, Hoechst has championed the cause of the agile method of software development.

Hoechst also manages the company’s Technology Innovation Center, an in-house research and product development facility, while helping to develop semantic analytics solutions that automate information analysis for national security requirements.

As if all that were not enough, Hoechst was kept busy working with agencies to identify the technology they needed to implement the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative.
