Brenda Sprague created a strategic plan for the State Department's passport services organization that will serve as a road map for technology implementation through 2014.

The plan ties together a variety of activities to enhance passport services and coordinates training so that employees will be able to use new systems as they are deployed. By creating a coherent strategy that blends the technologies with training, Sprague has ensured that all elements of the strategy work together to improve passport security.

She also accelerated the deployment of biometric technologies and document-scanning systems to speed the passport issuance system and expand data sharing with other agencies. And she worked closely with Congress to ensure that the agency had legislative authority to implement passport security measures.

I believe with the technology we have today,to expedite passports will enhance the process for verifications. Many of the courts in the United States are using the process to streamline paper and keep the go-green initiative. Any documents that can be obtained online could be verify. Example like IRS retrieval and Government/Courts retrieval. This would be a tremendous help, to avoid delays, or refusals in renewals, because they could obtain the additional information directly with consent. I know from experience, and I would like the Department of Assistant Secretary of Passport Services direct email or address to write my complaint letter. For I am not satisfied on my results and how my account was handled.

Regarding the new proposed Biographical Questionnaire for U.S. Passport applications, DOS-2011-0055-0001 1.) Why is it NECESSARY to list ALL employment history (names, addresses, dates) on a passport application? 2.) Why is it necessary to list mothers pre, during, & post employment history? 3.) Why is it necessary to report religious ceremonies at or near the time of birth? I was not made aware that public comments ended 4-25-2011.
