The impact: Weber helped give federal leaders the confidence to move from being cautious adopters to IT innovators.

The nuts and bolts: Weber worked with agencies to identify optimization metrics and potential cost savings in data center consolidation. Recognizing the growing demand for big data capabilities, he was also a key advocate for NetApp’s acquisition of Engenio, a technology that supports high-performance computing; full-motion video; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions
