Christine Finnelle
Chief Technology Officer, Information Technology Division
United States Marshals Service
The U.S. Marshalls Service maintains a diverse array of assets, from prisoner aircraft transport and building security to specialized teams equipped to apprehend fugitives in diverse environments. Supporting those capabilities with new technology selected from a dizzying number of options is a process of “calming the chaos,” Finnelle says. The goal is to transform options into opportunities. Finnelle advocates a four-point tech-assessment methodology that considers federal fit, feasibility, flexibility and functionality.
This session will also cover:
Compliance with related data management and identity controls (impact)
Budgeting associated to federal funding cycles
