Nascent artificial intelligence applications promise to improve government by extracting hidden value in data; reducing inefficiencies and streamlining operations; affording employees more time for creative problem-solving; and improving customer service. For all its perceived benefits, however, AI is not a plug-and-play technology. Getting the most from AI requires groundwork—preparing the data fields, and reskilling the workforce. In this session, panelists will share lessons they’ve learned about paving the way for AI.
