Mr. Healy is a Software Sales Executive at IBM, where over the course of his very successful career he has won every Sales award IBM has including the ultimate, ‘Golden Circle’ and “Best of IBM”! Mr. Healy currently leads IBM Federal Hybrid Cloud organization. Responsibilities include sales and support for all Analytics and Cloud software sales to the Federal Government.
Mr. Healy is a dynamic leader who over the past 30 years has lead the start up and turn around of many parts of IBM SW business, including taking the Southwest Business Unit from one of the lowest performing to #1 Worldwide in 2 years. He is known for high energy, motivational Leadership, that focuses on trust and respect for the individual, while delivering the desired results for Clients. Mr. Healy has held numerous leadership positions, including SW Business Executive running Federal and Commercial teams, and both NA & WW businesses. His experience besides sales, includes marketing, communications, product management, development, and event management.
Mr. Healy last year was honored with the selection to participate in IBM CSC (Corporate Services Corps), where he will be part of a small team (10-15) to go on a mission to help solve critical problems in a needy community in a remote part of the world. His assignment will be to Phuket, Thailand in 2H17. This aligns to Mr. Healy’s life principle that ‘the more you give, the more you get’, which is why his goal is to make a positive ‘touch’/impact with all he interacts with.
Mr Healy is a highly sought after mentor, including has done work with individuals in Fortune 100 and US Army. He has spoken across the world, and his work with US Army has won accolades, including earning him in 2013 a ‘Patriot Award’ from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Healy was recently the honored guest of the Command General (CG) of 1st Infantry Division (“Big Red One”), Fort Riley, KS. In addition, to invitation to the Pentagon, Mr. Healy has been asked to do resiliency training by the CG of one the US Army’s largest bases, Fort Hood.
Mr. Healy has B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College, where he played Football & Lacrosse, and was Captain of Lacrosse Team his Jr & Sr year. In addition, Tim was a four year member of the Saint Michael’s Fire & Rescue squad, which was the second busiest in the State of Vermont. Recently, he served as Co-Chair of the SMFR Building Campaign, which raised funding to build the new SMFR Station on campus. Mr. Healy has MBA studies at Wharton School of Business and Harvard, and is on the Board of Fore Cure Inc.. He has served on number of charities including Ronald McDonald House (of Greater Washington as well as Baltimore), Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Children’s National Medical Center / Children’s Hospital, Washington Home & Hospice, and Troops First Foundation. As Founder of ‘Swing Fore The Cure’ (Fore Cure Inc), this charity has donated over $2M towards research for a cure to breast cancer!
