Hopes of a better competitive tomorrow

Following is a response to an FCW.com poll question that asked: "Is it possible to have a fair competition between public and private groups bidding for the same work?"

It is my belief that the public sector is trying to get away from the label of having corruption within the ranks.

I feel as though the regulatory guidelines that are in place will work for all who choose to bid on any particular contract. Many of the problems encountered could very well be the result of people trying to use legal loopholes to aid them in their pursuit — be it members of the private or public sector.

It must be understood that as long as the cloud of impropriety looms over any situation and no one does anything about it, there will never be reason to believe a situation of this nature could work.

This is just a positive way of looking at a situation with hopes of a better tomorrow. Thanks for the opportunity to voice MY opinion.
