DOE to use Compusearch for procurement management

The software company will support Energy's Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System program.

Compusearch Software Systems will support the Energy Department's Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES). The company will provide its Prism acquisition management system.

The system will allow DOE to standardize the process for managing the acquisition of goods and services, according to a Compusearch announcement. It will also consolidate spending data and ease the tracking and managing of the information.

The company will deliver implementation and support services under the contract. Compusearch is performing the work as a subcontractor to IBM, the prime contractor for DOE's Integrated Management Navigation System (I-Manage). STRIPES is one of seven components under I-Manage.
