EPA awards $10.5M task order to SRA
SRA will provide information technology support to the EPA’s Brownfields Program, which strives to clean contaminated properties and build revitalized communities.
The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded SRA International another task order to support the agency's Brownfields Program, which seeks to clean contaminated properties and create economic growth and more livable communities.
The EPA awarded the task order under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations contract, and it would be worth $10.5 million over four years if the agency exercises all options. The company has worked on the EPA program since 1996.
Under this new contract, SRA will help the EPA’s Office of Brownfields Cleanup and Redevelopment improve the reporting and management of the Assessment, Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System.
SRA services will include requirements analysis; enterprise architecture design and implementation; systems design, development and integration; data analysis and management; and electronic content and document management.
The SRA team includes Environmental Management Support.
The “EPA has made great strides with its stakeholders in assessing and cleaning up sites and demonstrating the power of redevelopment in achieving national environmental protection objectives,” said Peter Trick, vice president and director of environmental and organizational services at SRA, in a statement today.
