State creates small biz pool for IT services
The nine vendors, a mix of small-business types, will provide general IT services to agency facilities in the United States and abroad.
Hybrid Information Technology Services for State (original solicitation)
The State Department has selected a mix of nine small businesses to provide general information technology services at agency facilities in the United States and abroad.
The nine awards under the Hybrid Information Technology Services at State program fall into three set-aside categories: Small business, service-disabled/veteran-owned and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone). The department has not announced awards in a fourth category, 8(a).
The vendors will support State's software, hardware and communications technology, providing such services as systems and software analysis and design, computer programming, configuration management, testing and troubleshooting, according to the original notice published on the FedBizOpps Web site. Contracts range in value from $85 million to $114 million.
The HITSS contractors are:
- Small Business: Pragmatics, Electronic Consulting Services, Intercom Federal Systems, Pro-telligent, and RiteNet.
- Service-Disabled/Veteran-Owned: Edgesource and BAI.
- HUBZone: Acuity and Sycamore.US.
