USA.gov to get support from small-biz firm

GSA awarded Cascades Technologies a a five-year, $3.5 million contract to provide content assistance and other information technology services.

USA.gov, the government's official Web portal, will get content assistance and other information technology services from Cascades Technologies under a a five-year, $3.5 million contract the General Services Administration has awarded the company.


The Herndon, Va., company will provide content management, accessibility compliance, usability assistance, optimization services and project management support for USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov, the Spanish-language version of the site.


The Hispanic-owned company will also develop, write and edit content for the USA.gov portal in English and Spanish.


Cascades Technologies, an 8(a) certified small IT services company, has offices in Washington, D.C., Sterling, Va., and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
