Fairfax County, Va., hires Datamatix for EC services

Datamatix Inc., based in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., won a contract from Fairfax County, Va., to provide electronic data interchange translation software and consulting services. One of the company's first tasks will be to provide the county with the ability to electronically issue purchase and change orders. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Datamatix currently holds electronic commerce contracts in California and Pennsylvania.
