John Pouland last month accepted the position of administrator of GSA's five-state Greater Southwest region. Pouland previously held the position for about a year but left last year to run as the Democratic challenger for the Fifth Congressional District of Texas. He was defeated by Republican Pete Sessions.

The Intergovernmental Enterprise Panel a group of federal state and local government agencies exploring how governments can use technology to deliver services more efficiently this month named Nada Harris deputy assistant secretary for information resources management with the Department of Veterans Affairs as its new federal co-chairwoman.

Harris replaced Frank McDonough deputy associate administrator for intergovernmental solutions at the General Services Administration.

Former White House spokeswoman Margaret Tutwiler last month joined the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association as senior vice president for public affairs and communications. Tutwiler has held senior positions within White House administrations and at the State and Treasury departments.

CACI Inc. has hired Gerald Cranford former official at the Census Bureau and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to work on the Census Data Capture System 2000 subcontract awarded earlier this year to Lockheed Martin Corp. and on other developing opportunities at Census.

Sandy Sullivan former vice president of sales at EDS Military Systems last month was appointed vice president of federal consulting at Federal Sources Inc.'s Consulting Division.

Former Air Force Col. James Metsala this month was named program development director in Eastman Kodak's Commercial & Government Systems Division. At the Air Force Metsala specialized in systems acquisition and information technology.

Network Imaging Corp. last month appointed Richard McMahon as vice president of government systems. He previously was vice president and managing partner at NCR Corp.'s Government Sector Professional Services unit.

Teletutor a provider of interactive training technology last month named Anne Berry its federal government project manager. Berry has held previous federal sales jobs at Cabletron Systems Inc. and Digital Equipment Corp.

Paul DeRosa was named regional manager for federal sales for Sterling Commerce where he is responsible for all sales within the federal government. DeRosa was formerly a national sales manager for Alexandria Va.-based Softworks Inc. where he worked for 10 years.
