Lloyd Mosemann former deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force for communications computers and support systems this month accepted the position of corporate vice president of business development at Science Applications International Corp.

SAIC also hired Arnold Punaro former aide to Sen. Sam Nunn as a senior vice president for corporate development. Punaro has worked as staff director of the Senate Armed Services Committee and as Nunn's director of national security affairs.

Adair Martinez deputy director of telecommunications at the Justice Department is acting director of that office until the department appoints a permanent replacement for the retired Dave Bittenbender.

Doxsys Inc. a subsidiary of Federal Data Corp. this month hired William Lochten as director of sales.

Karen Gregory has been chosen as the associate director of information technology at the Census Bureau. Gregory currently the administrator for computer and telecommunications operations at the Patent and Trademark Office will join the bureau June 2.

    DHS chief Nielsen resigns

    Kirstjen Nielsen, the first Homeland Security secretary with a background in cybersecurity, is being replaced on an acting basis by the Customs and Border Protection chief. Her last day is April 10.
