VA's GILS setup confirmed

In our recently completed final report for the study "An Evaluation of the Federal Government's Implementation of the Government Information Locator Service (GILS) " we incorrectly reported that the Department of Veterans Affairs had not implemented an agency GILS. An article in FCW [July 14] on the GILS study also noted that the VA had not implemented GILS.

In Appendix B of our report we listed all agencies (as of March 7 1997) having some implementation of GILS and we do list the VA there (www.va.gov/gils/index.htm. Our apologies to the department for our mistake.
