Army site hacked
The home page of the Army's Artificial Intelligence Center (www.pentagon-ai.army.mil) was altered this month by intruders who replaced the center's data with drawings of cartoon characters and anti-government text.
The page was altered Oct. 4 an Army spokesman confirmed but he could provide no further details of the incident. The main page featured a picture of the cartoons and a link to a second exploited page. The second page included pleas to free hacker Kevin Mitnick and a parody of the Defense Department's security banner warning.
