Pennsylvania Releases Year 2000 Consumer Guide

The chairman of Pennsylvania's "Pa2K" project announced the availability of the "Consumer Guide to the Year 2000," which provides common-sense tips for preparing for the millennium bug.

The consumer guide was developed with Pennsylania State University to expand the state's outreach to its communities about Year 2000 problems and concerns.

Lt. Gov. Mark Schweiker made the announcement this week at the Collegeville, Pa., Fire Company and praised that town's Year 2000 readiness.

A complete listing of the awareness and planning tools can be found at www.pa2k.org.
