Pennsylvania Web Site Tops 200 Million Visits

Visits to Pennsylvania's home page have doubled in the last six months, with the page recently passing the 200-million-hits level, the state said.

The page was launched in October 1995. It features everything from tax forms to online driver's license applications, and it includes links to the governor's office, state police and the department of education.

The site, at www.state.pa.us, had more than 19 million hits just in the month of June.
