NASPO Announces First-Ever Supplier Forum

The National Association of State Procurement Officials will hold the NASPO Supplier Forum on Best Value Procurement on Sept. 8 in Madison, Wis.

Participants at the forum can engage in discussions with state procurement directors on the use of best value procurement and revisions to the American Bar Association's Model Procurement Code.

Best value is a method of procurement that factors in variables other than price when determining a contract award.

The information gathered at the forum will be the basis of a NASPO white paper on best value procurement. More information on the forum is available at www.naspo.org.
