Maryland Center Hosts IT Town Hall Meetings

A >Maryland technology training center (TTC) is hosting two technology seminars in the cities of Seat Pleasant and Glenarden that will feature demonstrations from industry giants Microsoft Corp., IBM and Bell Atlantic.

The free seminars include a software demonstration by Microsoft, a hardware presentation by IBM and an Internet session by Bell Atlantic.

The Seat Pleasant-based Patriots TTC (www.patriots-ttc.org) was created to serve its local communities by helping to generate interest in computer and Internet technologies, such as education, job opportunities and careers options. It is sponsored by numerous representatives from both the public and private sectors.

The Seat Pleasant seminar will be held on Oct. 20, and the Glenarden meeting is scheduled for Oct. 27. Anyone interested in registering for the seminars should send e-mail to [email protected] or call (301) 925-9351 for more information.
