USAID taps AMS for financial software

The U.S. Agency for International Development on Thursday awarded American

Management Systems Inc. a potential 10-year contract to install and support

a global financial management system.

The commercial financial management solution is intended to make financial

data readily accessible to USAID employees worldwide.

AMS will begin by installing its Web-enabled Momentum software suite in

Washington, D.C. and two other USAID missions, then fan out to 38 more missions

around the world, according to the company.
