Proposals to redefine info ops include:

    * Removing physical attacks against information systems from the definition.

    * Removing electronic warfare because it is an operational function that is controlled by regional commanders.

    * Shifting information assurance to the communications and computing environment.

    * Shifting computer network attack and defense to an area defined as computer network operations.
