What will CHRIS do?

Phase 1 of the General Services Administration's Comprehensive Human Resources Integrated System (CHRIS) is designed to support human resources professionals for the entire personnel life cycle, including hiring, compensation and benefits, personnel processing and management, and retirement.

CHRIS will incorporate all common federal business rules mandated by the Office of Personnel Management and can be customized to include agency-specific business rules. The system also is currently directly connected to the GSA payroll system and will be connected to other administrative systems in the future.
