Letter to the editor
Regarding "E-learning aimed
at librarians." I would like to take exception to a comment made by Kraig
Robson, president of IsoDynamic. He says that librarians "tend to be mostly
introverted and not people who are typically suited to customer relations"
This is an old stereotype that hasn't been applicable for years. Robson
needs to be brought into the current century. Everyone, including Robson,
needs to "brush up" on many different skills from time to time.
I hope that his approach to the course he is developing will be much
more positive than his comments in the article.
