FEMA how-to site

With numerous inexperienced vendors offering homeland security solutions to agencies, the Federal Emergency Management Agency added a new section to its Web site that offers guidance to companies that have never dealt with the agency or the government before, said Rose Parkes, chief information officer at FEMA.

The "Doing Business With FEMA" site includes a link to the FedBizOpps portal where all federal solicitations are posted, a list of 25 tips on marketing to the agency with links to additional agency-specific and general government information, and a more detailed how-to guide.
