Brightmail helps fight spam

Brightmail Inc., a provider of spam-protection software, reported it has been added to the General Services Administration schedule through a partnership with systems integrator Government Technology Solutions (gTecSolutions).

Junk e-mail, known as spam, is a growing security and productivity issue because it clogs and, in some cases, cripples e-mail systems at businesses and government agencies. Brightmail's Anti-Spam tackles the problem by filtering spam, viruses and undesired messages at the Internet gateway.

Being part of gTecSolutions' GSA schedule will make it easier for Brightmail to sell to agencies.
