Mark Forman is concerned that there are not enough qualified federal managers to oversee major information technology projects.

The Office of Management and Budget is aggressively pushing for agencies to conduct A-76 operations, with IT being a major target.

The likely outcome will be to substantially reduce the number of federal IT workers, demoralize those that remain, and discourage young IT workers from entering a career of federal public service.
