Raytheon hires former STG exec

Peter Janke, former senior vice president of business development at STG Inc., has been appointed lead operations officer of Raytheon Information Solutions.

Janke has more than 30 years of crossdisciplinary management experience in federal information technology work, Raytheon officials said. His background includes key roles in operations, finance, sales and marketing management.

Prior to joining STG, Janke was president and founder of The Seneca Group, an investment banking and consulting practice. Earlier in his career, Janke held executive and management positions at Litton Industries Inc., GTSI Corp., Unisys Corp., Computer Sciences Corp. and EDS.

Raytheon combined four separate IT operations to create RIS earlier this year.
