Tibco goes for fed business

Tibco Software Inc., a business integration software company, has launched a government solutions practice.

According to company officials, the practice and a new Executive Briefing Center will develop and deliver standards-based solutions for agencies. The center is in Falls Church, Va.

The company has already won some business from agencies through the new practice, including the Commerce Department, according to company officials. Tibco is headquartered in Palo Alto, Calif.
