Maine hires Northrop for health

Maine awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. a $2.5 million, one-year contract to consolidate the state's public health systems into a single system.

The Web-based Integrated Public Health Information System (IPHIS) will connect systems within the state's Bureau of Health, public and private health care providers, and other health entities. Based on the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System
