Navy taps RGS for business process management, IT services

RGS Associates of Arlington, Va., was awarded a five-year, $26 million contract to offer programmatic, business process management and technical support to the Chief of Naval Operations office.

RGS also will provide business process analysis, migration planning, portfolio management, knowledge and records management, and strategic planning services to support the director of Navy staff CIO.

Part of RGS’ role under the contract entails supporting the Navy in applying the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet infrastructure to reduce legacy applications, develop and deploy enterprise business solutions, and improve corporate business processes across the CNO staff, according to a company release.
